SUMMARY:Children's Saturday Class: Young Authors
DESCRIPTION:Young Authors Children will learn about the lives of Lorain-native authors\, listen to their works and author and illustrate their own book as a group. Participants will each write and illustrate a page in progression.\n\n\n\nThese classes are designed for children in Grades 1 - 4 and will be held in the Children's History Center at the Carnegie Center. Classes are $5 each\, or all 3 classes for $10\, when registered and paid in advance.\n\n\n\nAdditional Classes Available:\n\nApril 18: Creation Station Children will learn about local artists and discuss the idea of creating a unique piece of art. Participants will experiment and create with a variety of materials.\n\nMay 16: Imagination and Innovation Children will learn of the work of local inventors and entrepreneurs. Participants will come up with a design plan to fix a problem and ways to sell their idea and product.
