2023 Manufacturing Month Kick Off Event

The Lorain County Growth Partnership is proud to announce the 2023 Manufacturing Month kick off will be held at Ridge Tool, located at 400 Clark St. in Elyria on October 5, 2023. Registration begins at 7:30am with coffee and light refreshments, program beginning at 8:00 a.m. There will be a tour of Ridge Tool following the presentation.
The Lorain County Growth Partnership's goal during Manufacturing Month is to continue to create awareness of In Demand Manufacturing in Lorain County and to highlight career pathways in manufacturing to local students and transitional workers. Our collaboration with the business and education sectors allows us the opportunity for open dialogue to understand the skills needed for future employees, especially as workforce needs have increased exponentially since COVID-19.
WEOL Radio, 930 AM will be broadcasting live from the Kick-Off and the event is expected to draw some positive media attention for our region and the manufacturing sector located here in Lorain County. 
Facility tours will immediately follow presentation.
Please wear closed-toe shoes.  No high heels or sandals. Avoid loose or flowing clothing.
