Spark your kids’ creative genius with these Spring Classes!

Discover figures from Lorain’s history including C. Paul Stocker, P. C. Campana, Toni Morrison, Helen Steiner Rice, Lenore Tawney, Stevan Dohonas, Dave Shukait, and William F. Smith. These individulas, among several others, invented, wrote, designed, and created pieces that influence people all over the world today. Within each of these classes, students will learn about the influential people from Lorain’s history and develop their own pieces using arts and technology.

March 16: You Can Write! Join us and learn about authors and illustrators from Lorain’s history! Children will learn about story elements, write their very own short story, and illustrate their story. During this class, children will utilize electronic tablets to draw illustrations, search for images, as well as research their story topic. At the end of the class, each child will take home a printed copy of their illustrated short story.

April 27: You Can Invent!
May 11: You Can Create!

Classes are $5 each or all three classes for $10.
