An Exploration of Rhythmic Discovery and Improvisation! Join us for this drum circle workshop where you will: Tap into your body’s intelligence and discover your innate ability to play rhythm – from simple beats to complex polyrhythms. Understand the relationship between elemental energy and the quality of sound in playing a drum. Experience how to create improvisational rhythms in a group drum circle format. Develop practices that will strengthen your rhythmic learning. Beginner friendly! No prior drumming experience necessary. Ages 16 and up are welcome. Drums and percussion instruments will be provided, and you can bring your own.
