Economic Summit 2019

The Lorain County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our plans for The 3^rd Annual Economic Summit taking place on May 10, 2019 once again at Lorain County Community College Spitzer Conference Center. This summit will begin in the morning with our Keynote Address being provided by Brian Heitkamp, President of Dayton's CityWide organization. Brian is responsible for all aspects of the organization's mission and strategy including economic development financing, real estate development, and the creation and implementation of comprehensive community development strategies and programs. We hope Brian is able to provide a roadmap for aspects that Lorain  County can accomplish that will be beneficial to our community.  This year we will also have a panel of local and regional participants to speak on some of our local projects currently being worked on as well as issues like workforce which continue to come up in all areas of Lorain County. Once again, our goal for the Economic Summit is to spur dialogue between our local businesses, our local educational partners, our elected officials and our local philanthropic and non-profit organizations. Our goal is to inform and engage our Lorain County business leaders while we talk about opportunities for collaborative initiatives and strive to identify and stimulate current and future action.
