The Lorain Historical Society welcomes Tom Berry, Archivist of the Historical Construction Equipment Association as the speaker for the first History Talk of 2019, a presentation on Lorain’s Thew Shovel. Join us as Tom shares his knowledge of the innovative spirit of Captain Richard Thew, the creation of his company, and the lasting influence of the machines that were developed in the city of Lorain.

The program costs $5 to attend (payable at the door) and will be held at the Carnegie Center, 329 W. 10th Street, Lorain, Ohio. Space is limited so reservations are recommended.  Call 440-245-2563 or email info@lorainhistory.org.
