LCMT returns to Lorain with a SPLASH to celebrate its 40th Anniversary with Disney's 'The Little Mermaid'. Performances will be held at the beautiful, state-of-the art Lorain Performing Arts Center which is part of the new Lorain High School. Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s tale, Disney’s 'The Little Mermaid' is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. Ariel, King Triton’s youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above and bargains with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea. Friday, July 14th - 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 15th - 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 16th - 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 21st - 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 22nd - 7:30 p.m Sunday, July 23rd - 2:00 p.m. An Under the Sea Festival will take place before both matinees from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. with entertainment for the children. ALL performances will take place at the Lorain Performing Arts Center at Lorain High School (2600 Ashland Ave., Lorain, OH 44052).
