Talent continues to be a major concern for manufacturers in Lorain County. In order to assist manufacturers, Lorain County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Lorain County Community College, Lorain County Manufacturing Sector Partnership, OhioMeansJobs Lorain County, and Lorain County JVS to launch a monthly webinar series called MANUFACTURING MONTHLY: LET'S TALK TALENT. These webinars will take place at 11:30am on the first Wednesday of each month. It's our hope that these virtual meetings will spark conversations among manufacturers as you share innovative approaches to addressing workforce challenges.

OMA's Overview of State Budget as it Relates to ManufacturersThe series will kick off on Wednesday, August 4th at 11:30am. Rob Brundrett, Managing Director of Public Policy Services and Rachael Carl, Director of Public Policy Services from the Ohio Manufacturers' Association will provide an update on the new state budget and its impact for manufacturers.
