We are presenting a Women's Leadership Network program honoring Black History Month and featuring two respected and noteworthy African American women who were presenters at the 2019 Leadercast Women event in Atlanta. Deshauna Barber is best known for becoming Miss USA 2016 and the first active military officer to hold the title. She wants to use her voice to encourage, inspire and strengthen our youth. Elaine Marie Welteroth is an American journalist, editor and New York Times best-selling author. She was editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue. Her memoir, More Than Enough: Claiming space for who you are (no matter what they say) was published in 2019. She encouraged people to become civically engaged and is a proponent of social justice.
